Mike Drapeau is a back stabbing traitor to wounded vets. He has alot of balls pretending to be anything else. He would take a dollar from any clown to hurt and harm a Wounded Vet. Dont Trust this piece of human waste! I dont chime in much here anymore but could not help but let you all know how much of a two faced back stabber this clown is.

I think the last thing we need to be picking on is the use of profanity, we're all ex military so I'm sure it's nothing we've heard before. let's focus on the topic and not our crushed personal feelings because of a few words here please.

Chillier, I understand your frustration, but you need to calm down. Everyone knows where the clawback started, as part of the SISIP policy, which the ELB copied. But right now, we are only talking about the ELB policy, which did not even exist, other than on paper, until after Harper was elected. So therefor Harper was the only PM who ever had the power to change the clawback to ELB, which he eventually did. But it was also the Tories who decided at that time, not to pay retroactive ELB back to 2006, when the NVC was enacted. And that is the basis for THIS lawsuit, not the SISIP lawsuit. You cannot blame the Liberals for that decision. This lawsuit was started before the election, and is progressing as normal. Government lawyers are not throwing up roadblocks trying to get it thrown out, like they did with SISIP, and the Equitas lawsuit. So in the mean time, chill out, let the courts handle it, and hopefully once it does reach the courts, the Liberals will decide to do what the Tories refused to, and pay back that money.

BTW, I changed the language in a few posts. Please remeber that regardless of how frustrated we may get, we must always keep it clean on here. Thank you

Don't forget Carol Guarnieri the minister responsible for writing it.

Believe me, I know they're all the same. I'm just as pissed at Trudeau and his Libs. It was Paul Martin who conceived the NVC in the first place, and if I ever meet him in person I'll be sure to tell him what I think of him.

Harper didn't start the claw back and every other prime minister had the opportunity to end it also. They didn't. Get off the Harper hate man, they're all the same, you should know this by now.

I had 60 grand taken too brother so.I'm equally as pissed but let's but the blame where it belongs... on the liberals who have a long time hatred of military and veterans and started stealing veterans money in the first place.

Haset anyone sent a copy of the class letter to any media outlet? Maybe getting if we can reach a media outlet that's not a hack for the libturds we might gain some public support. In other words don't bother sending it to CBC

Harper had the opportunity to stop the madness, but chose not to.  And it was under his government that my disability pensions were clawed-back for approximately 48 months.  That's why I said the Harper government stole my money.
I get your point, as I'm sure most do, and many will have the same argument as me under different Prime Ministers and different governments.
If the SISIP folks had lost their lawsuit, I would have kept my mouth shut, but they won and I want all us ELB folks to have the same.

There seems to be some confusion surround the elb claw back, it's origin, and exactly whone was taking the money. I heard someone say the Harper government stole their money, which is horseshite. The claw back was started back in the 70s from different allowances taking disability pensions from those allowances aso they would with it income. Problem being, disability pensions are not income, they are disability pensions. Let's not forget who was in power when the claw back started. Hmm hmm the liberals. And if my memory serves me correct it was the other Trudashian, yup old Pierre the Idiot himself who set all this in motion. Sunny ways my friends, sunny ways.

Fast forward 35 years to the sisip lawsuit decision that clawing back pension money as income is illegal. Big mouth Steven Blaney made the statement, and it's evident that people have forgotten, that the wva and elb guys would get the same treatment as the sisip guys,,, Blaney gets the boot or steps down, In walks fantino and it's BOHICA, we'll pay ya back a small percentage of what the CANADIAN government has been stealing from you for the last 35 years while we silence this from any media coverage and maybe they'll just go away......

Seriously. Does any of this sound familiar to you guys or have you forgot? 1100 a effing month for 5 years.... that's over 60 grand. I haven't forgot.
