ELB vs LTD

hey guys dont know if anyone can answer this question but i have a friend who was on elb and is now getting ltd...his ltd payments are 200.00 less a month than what he was getting while on elb and i dont know the answer to this but shouldnt they be the same if they both give you 75 percent of your salary and if this is the case should he contact sisip and question them about it...thanks in advance for your replies..

Calling is his first avenue.  He has to ask for the explanation on paper to be sent to him.

If it's not on the up and up then he can use the info and contact the Ombudsman office.

hey thanks teen, i honestly didnt know what to recommend, but its funny that there is a difference in the montly amounts, i wonder if anyone else is in this situation

Currently, SISIP's annual COLA (cost of living adjustment) is maxed at 2%. I this the same for ELB? If not, it could account for the difference.

ELB cola is also capped at 2%.
