Re: Reconsideration Letter Question

Post by Dannypaj on Thu 05 Jan 2017, 05:21

After two years plus, my case is now finally in front of the Veterans Review and Appeal Board (VRAB).

Sad state of affairs.

I never wanted out of the military and once out I fought and fought, but with VAC/VRAB.

Still here today fighting, because I know I was wronged.

Two years plus, of mind boggling twist and turns for them to decide again upon my case.

(The very same people (VRAB) that took away my early years of life because of a broken system).

1/5 partial entitlement, BS.

VRAB, YOU ARE NOT ABOVE MEDICAL AUTHORITY! READ MY DOCUMENTS! READ MY DOCTOR’s REPORT!

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Sincerely and truly yours,

Never going to go away until you fix the problem.

Thanks johnny211.
I am pretty sure that it is the same VRAB board members who will review my case, as it clearly states it on my letter that I received from VAC.

Best of luck on it Danny. I once won one on a reconsideration. I think it's different people who look at it. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Johnny,211 - Out. VVV

SIT REP
I just want this to be over and done with and with all best intentions.
Please listen to my plea on the tape and my last words.
Benefit of the doubt!
I never wanted out of the CAF and having an injured spine and mind feels like having a burden of a cross when I walk..
Never did I want out.
I swore allegiance to the Queen (for that meant something to me and all else who serve Canada).
The brotherhood and sisterhood amongst soldiers is stronger and tighter then ever due to social media, we all vividly bound together due to our past similar experiences.

And my reconsideration will sit in front of the VRAB board on January 5th 2017.
Closure within sixty days upon my reconsideration appeal hearing.
Some may say that it is nice to receive a date and time, but I received this info yesterday.
(now I get to ruminate all during Christmas and through the New year)

SERVING CANADA, since 1977 (inception at birth)
Leave no soldier behind.
santa Merry Christmas everyone.
Keep your heads up and be proud.

I understand the fifths very well , how much of the injury is the responsibility of the Military , as I fought it for years and finally received 5/5 for both physical and psychological injuries. Full responsibility from the Military. I also fought for years to get the full percentage that my symptoms of my injuries warranted under the charter of disabilities.

Sit rep.....MY NVC entitlements are in place, but I am still awaiting to hear back on my reconsideration, (which is unfortunately under the PA. IMO it has stalled out because of that soul reason).
BUT! just as long as we can come to a favourable and fair outcome I will be fine with it.
(GOC/VAC/VRAB, given the new evidence and the benefit of the doubt! "VRAB members, please when listening or reading the transcript recording of me pleading and begging for help (25 years old and an injured Able Seaman "hardly had any say back then)", but watch me now, with age comes wisdom).
This sailor is truly thankful for my fellow supervisor for writing up an incident report that was missed in my VRAB appeal in the first place. The new evidence submitted counters VRAB's for withholding of so many fifths.
CONFUSED!
DEALING with this for 18 years all while let free from the CF with  PTSD and  for years not being diagnosed, for frack sakes.
fifths 1/5th's through to 5/5 (just that alone can confuse a vet if they don't understand the entitlement procedure), but that is done in order to supress and confuse you and your doctor....fix the problem fairly please.
