Oct. 14/16
Sitrep: Adams, Pte.

Thank you everyone for your best wishes. The dark spaces have seemed to dissipate. Week 1 is over at Sydney General Mental Health Unit. Olazipine and sleep aids have been helping. The best medicine is the warm weather we have been having, the fresh outdoor air, and the walks in the forest. I know some of you will not be able to use these methods for recovery but I wish you all good mental health where ever you are. Come to Sydney if you feel you need the great outdoors to heal. The forest surrounds the hospital and there is plenty of room for you all.
All my love and thanks.
Sincerely,

Pte Adams

Sitrep: Week Two: 23.10.2016
I have a new Doctor now. British Indian. Very Cool and Calm Man. He served two years in the medical corp.
I have been given 1/2 hour intervals of walking and going to Tim's as part of my therapy.
I'm in touch with all family members and today I'm hoping to attend the Vimy Ridge Memorial 100th Anniversary which will be held jointly with the East Bay Fire Hall and the 693 Squadron Air Cadets bake sale here in Sydney.
P.S. I found the photo of Hittler online and have printed a copy. OMG!! (Private Adams)
Wishing you all good mental health.

Sincerely,
pteadams

Thank you for the sitreps pteadams as we have all been thinking of you. I am glad that you have been in touch with all your family members as I am sure they are giving you the support and encouragement you need for recovery and it is really heartwarming to know that you have their support as you have ours. I hope you find serenity when you go for your walks and that it helps you moving forward. Take care and please keep in touch with csat.

Thank you everyone for your comments and support. It means a great deal to me. I will keep, keeping on. Wax on Wax Off, Hot & Cold, Dark and Light, and the squeaky wheel gets greased and all that jazz. I feel my biggest motivator is the time I spent with the Canadian Forces and the discipline I learned while working there. I got to say it and forgive me if it offends..."SIGS"!!!! LOL That cheers me up.
Much Love and Good Mental Health to All.

Propat. That is correct.

FYI Everyone: I am being discharged today to travel back to NFLD (NL). I will be checking in with my case manager in Corner Brook and my Doctor for further follow up care. I will continue to participate here on the VVI. Cheers. All Good Things.
