Indeed sad story. I am even more curious how he finished law school. He seems to be very good at parroting the 'promisses' but not being able to say anything else.

Hour Honourable Minister Kent Herr's life changed in a flash, hopefully now with many voices ringing in his head for help. Studying and learning the system (our vac system) the Honourable member of parliament representing us can  explain and elaborate more? He has done well advocating the sticking points, but is he sincerely advocating for fair and equality for all.

wow that is quite unfortunate. Hope the people responsible got arrested and got a severe punishment. It is very sad that someone can change someones life like that over a few heated words.....what is the world coming to. Thanks for the info guys......was curious about it when I first read it.

Just one of those really unfortunate things. Some young men exchange a few heated words at a stop light. But one car has someone with a weopon. They shoot at Kent's car and the bullet hits him leaving him with catastrophic injuries. So Kent and his friends were not involved in anything dark and shady but the other occupants of the other vehicle were. That is why it best not to gesture to any other vehicles nor exchange any words. Just suck it up and drive on.

I read Kent's biography and I have a question.  Did anyone ever really find out why he was involved in a drive by shooting that left him paralyzed?  99% of the time people just don't do drive bys on innocent people....an aweful lot to risk on an innocent person isn't it?  Was he involved in something dark and shady??  Just curious if anyone else though about that......
