Bruce, I have waited for 2 weeks for some news, and when I called VAC this afternoon, they said that the paperwork regarding the retro, hasn't even sent to me yet, and that I was not allowed to talk to Jose McIver. They said that I cannot speak directly with her without approval from the team leader, which I didn't get, and that she wouldn't have anything to do with ELB. All they would do is send a request to HQ to send me paperwork , but that could take 5+ days to respond (likely more because of Remembrance Day). so once again, I am stuck in limbo, not even knowing when or even if they were intending to pay me that money. So maybe if someone that is allowed to call her, is willing to pass on my info to her, I will send you a PM.

Call VAC and ask for Jose McIver, she actually called me the other day (the day I got the retro) to make sure I had received the 4 months retro. She is your ticket to info.

Bigrex. I just found out that the paper work I received was for 2013 cra audit and has nothing to do with the elb retro. So like you, I have no paperwork regarding the clawback.

Well I guess I'm not as lucky when calling VAC, as the rest of you guys. I called and spoke with someone who was supposedly a benefits specialist, and all she could tell me was that that I haven't been sent any letters yet, but if I was effected, then I should get sent one soon. She also said there has been no set turnaround time for the payments, so even though some may be paid already, others may have to wait several weeks, instead of paying us all at once. I should have known that VAC would take what should be a simple process, and turn it into a convoluted mess, filled with stress. At least the Veterans who are not on CSAT, or other website, will be blissfully unaware that the payments are coming, just not to them yet.

That is what I mean, I have not even received any paperwork requesting info about my income at the time. It just seems like every other Veteran who was getting ELB at the time, at least on CSAT, have either received the actual payment, or some paperwork regarding the payment. I guess I better give VAC a call, just for the sake of my own sanity.

I have not received the retro and the income statement was sent back to VAC a month or more ago.

Am I the only one who hasn't at least received paperwork regarding these payments? Anyone else still waiting?

money is in the bank on my end too.  They taxed it, as I suspected they would. No paperwork yet.

For those still waiting, I hope the crooked Cons give you your dough soon.

I've contacted MDLO and received a reply today, I will be contacted Monday by the gentleman in charge of gathering info. I've retained all my ELB worksheets from 08' fwd which shows all sources of 'income'...including my "VAC Income". Hope the VAC/GOC does the right thing!

In answer to your question meteck, yes the Drapeau firm is taking it on. In a conversation with there rep, he gathered all the information from me as they needed details in my case. I believe they needed 40 people to tell there stories. It did not take them long to get the 40. However all of the men and women who were on the ELB and clawed back that list they have already. its obtaining the other two groups, WVA and another group. They have 30-60 days to submit the paperwork in. There hoping to settle as he was very determined that during this year of election it would really look bad on them. He is optimistic that a settlement will be achieved. If not they are prepared to drag them back into court. These were his words.
