A paraplegic can play the harmonica. Nothing like the blues on good harp to make a man feel alive. Maybe modeling, model trains. I'm with Propat, I love to research stuff. I spend hours a day just lookin' stuff up.

Maybe I should write a political song for JT about not looking after the Country's veterans. YouTube would love that. I am sure I would need a team of lawyers to get me out from under the red tape though. lol

But seriously. 8 years I have been suffering with this monkey, and a decaying quality of life. Finding hobbies that suit my new "abilities", or lack there of has taken a lot of time. I think the therapy in the last year has made the difference. I am gaining a new kind of focus. For me its been the realization that I can no longer do what I traditionally enjoyed. And a belief that it is okay to move on.

I will show to everyone incase others are interested.

If you have never flown a drone or helicopter, purchase a small cheap one (or two)..parts..I started with a nano drone 4606 Proto-X Nano R/C Quadcopter. link - http://hobbyhobby.com/product/353134/4606-proto-x-nano-r-c-quadcopter/

One of the best shops i found is in Toronto but they deliver.

TODO;
-stay with RC shops
-fly small before going big. Its winter now so it is perfect.
- use rc remote style
-purchase drone that you can upgrade such as motors, adding flir cams, extra battery packs etc.

NOT TODO;
-don't fly around pets, dogs eat them..trust me they do..3 drone exact
-do not purchase drone that operate my cell phone ie bluetooth..bad news ..goes straight up and disappears..funny as hell.have the last picture it sent me..it showed me and my mouth opened up..then gone ..

there is so much but beware when you get bigger read the regulation on these , i live in the flight path and have to travel to use it because I am with in the danger zone. I can fly mine about 1000 feet easily.. awesome pics but easy to loose until the batter runs low and the auto return home mode kicks in , then it comes back.

any more just ask

if you really get into it you can do drone racing with FPV..here is a link.
