IN PLAIN ENGLISH

Post by Jeffery M on Sun 21 Oct 2012, 10:08

We cannot allow a national system to exist that compensates one veteran of catastrophic injuries with a lifetime award for pain and suffering and another, who sustained the very same horrific injuries in war, with a Lump Sum Award and a lifetime of uncertainty.

i agree strongly jeffery it should not be leagal to award a monthy pention to soldiers who sustained catastrophic injuries in war and a buyout to other soldiers who sustained the very same catastrophic injuries in war.they are in the exact same situation and deserve to be treated exactly the same.by everyone!

Well said Propat.

I do not envy what a soldier went through during his or her time in ANY war. And, I would never want to redo what I experienced during combat in Kandahar.

War is hell in ANY conflict.
